HI DEBRA, THANKS FOR THE MESSAGE. MY GRANDFATHERS MIDDLE NAME WAS DEFINATELY EMIL. I SAW IT IN HIS OBIT. NOTHING WAS MENTIONED ABOUT HIS FATHER. ALL I CAN HONESTLY SAY IS THAT I WAS TOLD THAT THE LEIBOLDS WERE ORIGINALLY FROM SCRANTON. AND THAT MY GRANDFATHERS FATHER DIED WHEN HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD.MY DAD TOLD ME IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN FROM BLACK LUNG DISEASE. SO I FIGURE THAT HE MUST HAVE DIED AROUND 1919-1920.I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT HE(MY G-GRANFATHER)WAS ONLY THIRTY YEARS OLD.HENCE THE YEARS OF 1919-1920. WHERE HE DIED IS A MYSTERY ALSO. I DONT KNOW IF HE DIED IN PA OR NY. ALTHOUGH I DO REMEMBER MY DAD ALSO TELLING ME THAT MY G-GRANDFATHER WAS INDEED BORN IN PA. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON.
