The surname of Leibold was changed upon arriving to the U.S. The original spelling was Leupold,with an umplant over the u.
I do not have a Lorenz in the data. But my husbands family came from a little village called Guntersbuhl, this is just a little north of Nurenburg. It can be found on an old map, the newer maps do not show it.
