Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
In my preceding message, hastily scribbled as it was, I incorrectly stated that Robertus' father, Christian, was born in the German 'state' of Lautlingen. In fact, Lautlingen is a town; the term "Schwarzwaldkreis" means "Black Forest district," and "Baden-Wurttemberg" denotes the specific German state in which Robertus and his forebears were born. Lautlingen is found near Burladingen, Reutlingen, Boblingen, Tubingen, Hechingen, Stetten, and Killer, and is located some 50 kilometers north of Bodensee (Lake Konstanz), and is situated between the Neckar and Donau (Danube) Rivers, in Germany's extreme southwest corner near the French-German-Swiss border. Wiederschau.
