Acc. to A HISTORY OF THE LAMAR OR LEMAR FAMILY IN AMERICA, by Harold Dihel LeMar (1940), p. 246, your Savilla [there called Survilla] was the dau. of Henry LeMar, b. 4 Oct. 1786 in Caroline Co., Md., the son of James and Mary (Eubanks) LeMar. He moved with his father & family, to Mason Co., Ky., in 1799. Other sources claim that Henry marr. Catherine Cook, & moved to Ohio, where he fathered at least 2 children: your ancestor Savilla and my ancestor Robert (b. 1815). Robert's desc. later moved to Indiana & N.C.
