Sylvanis Leonard descendants

I recently found a headstone for Sylvanis Leonard and his wife Elizabeth (Wheat?) in Manilla, Rush, Indiana. I am having a hard time finding any of his descendants. The headstone reads Sylavnis b. 27 May 1789 and d. 18 Nov. 1872 88y 5m 21 d. According to LDS he was either born in Guilford Co., N.C. or Virginia and died in Rush Co., Indiana. Stone for Elizabeth reads b. 24 Nov. 1793 d. 26 Sep. 1876 82y 10m 2d. According to LDS she was Elizabeth Wheat born in Virginia and died in Rush Co., Indiana. Appreciate any info you are willing to share.
