Bit late in the day to respond, but we are newcomers to the computer world...I am a member of the "Lepine" tree, my grt.grt.grandfather being,Edward Lepine..He married Susannah Jones 1846,in St.Nicholas. Gloucester. On their wedding cert,it gives Edwards father as Samuel,a soldier!.. Edward was a waterman. I have tried in vane, to find Edwards birth/chr/death,but to no avail.I only have the wedding cert, given to me by another family researcher.. If i could find just one of the other cert., then I could link myself to the French Connection. I too have gone back to 1500,s..But until I find out about Edward, I cannot assume, that these are my origins... Did not realise, until I started research, that there were so many Lepines..I have a cousin, with Lepine as his middle name.. Many thanx
