Hi, this is a longshot that anyone will reply, since this surname seems to have lost its audience.
Here is my Chevaudier-Lepine line, starting with my great-grandmother:
Adeline Lepine, m. to Joseph Beauvais in Montreal, Sept.9, 1862.
Adeline's parents were Gregoire (Leandre)Chevaudier-Lepine and Adeline Lemire dit Marsolais, m. Sept. 25, 1838 in L'Assomption, Que.
Gregoire's parents were Jean-Baptiste Chevaudier-Lepine and Madeleine Duchesneau, m. Aug 1, 1797 in L'Assomption, Que.
Jean-Baptiste's parents were Charles Chevaudier and Marie-Victoire Christin-St-Amour, m. Sept 11, 1766 in L'Assomption, Que.
Charles' parents were Joseph Basile Chevaudier and Marie Joseph Brien, m. Oct. 18, 1734 in Varennes, Que.
Joseph's parents were Charles Chevaudier and Marie Jousset, m. May 30, 1701 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Que.
Charles' parents were Jean Chevaudier dit Lepine and Marie Mercier, m. Oct. 19 1671 in Quebec.
Jean's parents were Jacques Chevaudier and Catherine Barilot, m. 1650 in France.
This information comes to me from the St-Boniface Historical Society. I am told that my great-grandmother may have been adopted, but I have no proof of that.
