You hit the nail on the head. It is a Lepine family legend that William was related to Louis. William or his son George kept a newspaper cutting of Louis's obituary!!! The cutting is still with our family.
Jan, obviously you have done a lot of research on the Lepine name; could I ask you if you have come across my mother-in-laws family.
