Sarah, A relationship with your Emrod/ Paul Lesinski seems unlikely. My Lesinskis descend from Stanislaw Lesinski of Pyzdry (near Poznan). He had six sons who survived past infancy. Michal (b.1855) emigrated to US to Erie, PA and Detroit and started the line which included 2 Congressmen named John Lesinski. Jakob (b. 1852)stayed in Poland and had 6 sons, none named Paul or Emrod. Jan b. 1858/9, my G-Grandfather) emigrated to Buffalo in 1891. I have not identified the offspring of Walenty (b.1835), Alexander (b.1843) or Antoni (b.1847). In all of the records I have found relating to my family, the name has been spelled consistently as "Lesinski".
