Thanks for the posting. I assume you were posting it for the benefit of other readers and that you didn't have a question. Richard could well be of my Lesperance line. The original of my line in the U.S. arrived in Keeseville, NY from Quebec about 1843. He had a very large family...at least 61 grandchildren that I counted. Some of the grandchildren in Keeseville. Some moved to Schenectady in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I have a record of all Lesperances in my line born from mid-1750's to 1890 but I wouldn't have this Richard. Nonetheless if anybody is related to this Richard I could, with a little research, probably give the line back to France. I do this as a hobby and don't charge.
