I can't really help with your problem, but I have a copy of a picture from a newspaper which you might want.
I am a member of the Montgomery County, MD Historical Society, and I cut this picture out because I believed the information was incorrect. It is a small picture of a large mansion called Letchworth's Chance, granted to Thomas Letchworth in 1658. That is too early for this area and I was told the mansion is not in this county.
If you can e-mail a home address to me, I will send it to you.
