William BIRNEY, came from Ireland in 1800, to Pennsylvania, where he married Elizabeth LETCHWORTH, a Quaker. They lived there until 1825, when they removed to the Village of Deersville, Ohio. With them came their family of 11 children: John, Israel, Letchworth, Ebenezer, Oliver, Jane, Mary, Debora, Isabelle, Rachel, Elizabeth.

I am not related to this family line - but thought the connection with the Quakers in PA might help in your research.
