My Great Grand Father was Chapman LEVY Barrow of south carolina in the early 1800's. The barrow famly originated in Virginia about 1614, then migrated to North carolina. Then South Carolina.

The Name Levy is a prominat middle name in our line.

His son John Barrow married a Welch and her fathers name was David LEVY Welch of south carolina.

Any one with information about a female LEVY marrying into the Barrow or Welch family of North/South Carolina would be most appreciated.

I would like to know how this name came into our family.
