Dr. Lewis Levy born 2-22-1808 in Georgia married on 7-15-1835 to Phoebe, born 1-30-1818 daughter of Thomas Fite and Asapasia Randolph. I have a total of 12 children, looking for spouses and children.
Dr. Levy was in the medical department of the Confederate army through out the War and was attached to the 6th Tennessee Regiment. Stationed at Jackson, Tn until it fell into the hands of the Federals then ordered to Montgomery Alabama.
"Dr. Levy was finely educated man and was considered in his day the best physician in West Tennessee".
