Am researching Philip Levy born London circa 1801.
His occupation is shoemaker (womens) of Ratcliffe Highway.
He was transported for 7 years to Tasmania in 1829 on the Surrey (2).
(Arrested for receiving stolen 'stoves'. Held on the hulk Surrey, then transported.)
He married Leah Lazarus in 1839 and had Lewis, Asher and Isaac, Sarah and Rae.
Memebers of his family went to New Zealand and back to Australia
