Levy arrival in New York - 1755

I have a record of the arrival to New York harbor of a "Mr. Levy" from London on board the Sphynx on 2 Sep 1755. No first name was given. The only identification (such as it was) was that he was Jewish, and apparently the only Jewish passenger. The new governor of New York (Sir Charles Hardy) was also aboard this ship.

Let me know if you are interested in knowing more about this record.
