Looking for descendants of John Lewellen b abt.1826 N.C m Margaret Nowles. Migrated to Panola County, MS.abt.1859. Census of 1870 has them listed with following children:
Silas b abt 1847 N.C.
Millie b abt.1850 N.C.
Mary b abt.1855 N.C
James b abt.1856 N.C
Samuel b abt.1859 MS.
Bud (William Joseph) B 1864 MS.
Be (Beatrice) b 1869 MS.
My grandfather Sidney Harrison Lewellen was the youngest, b 1872.
The only 3 I can trace is Sidney, Beatrice and Bud (William Joseph) who lived and died in Ponotoc Co.MS. Where did the others go?? Surely they have descendants somewhere! Can anyone help?
