Here is my updated family tree for Lewallen/Luallen. I have made great progress thanks to many Lewallen cousins.
Gen. 1: Daniel Luallen b.1790 TN d.1849 Jackson Co., Ala.
**siblings: John, Peyton, Freeman, Sarah, Polly, Elizabeth, and Cynthia.(*siblings came from probate for Cynthia Luallen listing her family.)
***Wife of Daniel: Elizabeth LAIN.
***Children of Daniel:
Charles; Monroe Wilson; Freeman; Preston; Madison; Andrew Jackson; Daniel; James; John; Polly; and M.J.(possible Mary Jane..?.)
(*names from probate for Daniel and probate of Charles.)
Children Monroe Luallen/Lewallen moved from Alabama to Arkansas and Charles's family as well.
Gen. 2: Charles Luallen b.1813 TN d.before 1849; (1849 *a petition for guardinship of minor children made by Daniel Luallen listing himself as father of Charles.)
**Wife: Caltha (last name unknown) b.1818 KY d.after 1870 Ark.
**Caltha took the children and moved to Independence Co., Ark. between 1850-1858.
1)Almarinda b.1835 Ala. married Rev. Joseph E. Venable 1848 Ala. later moved to Ark.
2)Jordan b.1838 Ala.
3)Mary b.1842 Ala d.1925 Enterprise, OK married to Jasper Lafayette Hamlin; both buried in Enterprise cemetery.
4)Charles b.1844 Ala d.1888 Enterprise, OK.
Jordan and Charles Luallen served in the Civil War: 2nd Arkansas Union Infantry.
James L. Hamlin also served in this same unit.
Gen 3: Jordan Luallen b.1838 Ala. d.1905 Canadian, OK married to Priscilla TYLER
moved from Arks. after 1880.

11)Charles "Charlie" b.1883 Ark.

13)Lewis "Lee" b.1870 Ark.

Gen. 4: James Madison Lewallen b.1857 Ark d.1912 OK married to Lydia Jane HEARNE* 1877 Pope Co., Ark..
(*spelling of name as is on marriage record.)
Lydia is the daughter of George Washington Hern and Mary S. Owens Hern of Pope Co., Ark.
(*Spelling for George Hern is as shown on Pope Co., Arkansas Land records, Census records, and Owens family bible records.)
Alfred; Jordan "Jerde"; Walter; Emmer "Emma"; William; Florence; and Mary Bell.
**William is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, OK; Jordan and Emmer are buried in Checotha cemetery Checotha, OK.
Gen. 5: Florence Lee Lewallen b.1897 Enterprise, OK d.1992 McAlester, OK and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, OK.
Married to George Marvin DISMUKES 1916 OK.
Children: Telia; James "Jim" and Virginia; 9 other children currently living.
