Ann - Hi

I have some Lewellens (var. spellings) who APPEAR to have come from Washington Co, IN. My ancestor is Elisha Lewellen who lived 1824-1908. I am not certain yet, but he appears to have been born in Fountain Co, IN. If I am connecting to the proper parents, then his ancestors were in Washington CO, IN; but they came from NC.

So far, it appears that my line for this era is Shadrack>Elisha>Elisha. It is the link between the 2 Elishas which I am researching at the moment. But this Shadrack and his son Elisha lived in Washington Co, IN. They were originally Quakers, but I am not too sure that they died Quakers.

I will look forward to hearing from you.
