I'm curious as to how many other people have LEWALLENs mixed in with MOOREs.

My great grandfather, Richard Hamilton Noble Hugh MOORE b. 1863 in AR was married to Eliza Catherine LEWALLEN b 1869 in AL. His brother, William Columbus MOORE b. 1856 in AR, was married to Eliza's Aunt Mary Elizabeth LEWALLEN. Eliza was the daughter of Joseph Wiley LEWALLEN b. 1847 in AL and Mary Jane RICHARDSON in 1850. Mary Elizabeth LEWALLEN b. 1845 in AL was Joseph Wiley LEWALLEN's sister. They were the children of James Calvin LEWALLEN b. 1822 in NC and Louisa D. HAZLE (dau. of James HAZLE).

"Hugh" and "Lum" MOORE were the children of Hamilton MOORE and Minerva Ann KING.

If you have LEWALLEN's and MOORE's mixed together in your family history, I sure would love to compare notes! Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks!
