My name is Janell Lewallen Totten - first name is Oleta and I don't go by that name. I much prefer Janell which is my middle name.

My Dad is Lloyd Delbert Lewallen and my Mother is Ruby Lee Dawson. Didn't know until she was killed in a horrific accident on July 25, 1959 at 7:25 AM by a drunk driver that she was born in St. Louis, MO. I live in O'Fallon which is not far from St. Louis.

My family and I have no information other than Mother was the foster child of the Dawsons. We have no pictures of her as a child (she was beautiful as an adult)or copies of a birth certificate - nothing. Do you have anything or any information?

Mother and Daddy were married 9/3/1939 - where they lived after that I don't know. I know Daddy was not adopted by the Dawsons nor was Mother. Mother was born 11/16/21 - at least that's what we were told.

First child they had was Helen born 6/17/40; died 12/4/43; Wanda born 9/22/41; I was born 1/30/44; Delbert 9/10/45; died March 5, 1957; Larry born 9/8/45.
