My name is Carol Sexton Berry Redd. I am trying to find confirmation of a Sexton family story that John Preston Sexton's mother was a Lewallen. John Preston, b. Spt 1859, was with Fielding Sexton, b. abt 1837-1840 in the 1860 Scott Co, TN census in Fielding's mother's household. The story goes that this Lewallen woman had John Preston before she married Fielding, and that she ran off and left John Preston with Fielding to raise.

If you have any possible Lewallen females that might fit the age, etc. I would be so grateful.
