According to records, Anderson was married to Lucy Rice in Prince Edward County, VA. 1784 and the last record I can find for him is in 1800 when he was in Wake County, N.C. Is there anything at all showing him in Scott County, Tennessee? Anything? Between 1784 when they married and 1812 when John was born is 28 years and to me, that sounds like a long time for Lucy to have been having children. It's conceivable, of course, but it would seem more logical for them to be grandparents. But what I'm looking for is something stating Anderson was in Scott County when John was born. Any help will be appreciated.
