Carol what a wonderful presentation you have created and made available to those researching their Lewallen families.

I had already retained parts of the information in my data base on some of the families you presented. My reasoning for researching some of the families in AL was to try & locate some of Charles Lewallen/Luallen's children. Charles was born abt 1794, prob VA? and died Jan 1860, St Francis Co, AR. His spouse is unknown to me. I have six children listed w/ him w/ one being questionable. Five were listed in the 1850 Anderson Co, TN Census Records w/ him. A possible son of Charles Lewallen maybe Galphen Lewallen b abt 1829 & was not listed in the 1850 Anderson Co, TN Census w/ him.

Charles Lewallen was the son of Richard Lewallen/Luallen b 1763 Prince Edward Co, VA d May 08, 1833 Anderson Co, TN. It is my belief Richard Lewallen was 1st married to unknown spouse & 2nd m Mar 30, 1793 Norfolk Co, VA to Gracey Stokley. From the estimated birth of Charles his mother would have been Gracey Stokley. I have factual information he was the son of Richard Lewallen.

I know Charles removed from Anderson Co, TN after 1850 & relocated to ??? before dying in AR. I thought maybe some of Charles Lewallen's children maybe removed to AL? I've locate very little information on them.

Charles Lewallen was listed in the Name Index for Court Records 1810-1814 in Anderson Co, TN.
