ELIZABETH A. CARTER was born December 14, 1791, and died February 1869 in Near St. Louis, Missouri. She married GREEN BERRY LEWALLEN/LEWELLEN January 01, 1810 in Campbell, Co., Va., son of CHARLES LEWALLEN and ELIZABETH HARRISON. He was born March 15, 1792 in (maybe) Campbell, Co., Va., and died September 07, 1847 Near St.Louis, Missouri.

Children of ELIZABETH CARTER and GREEN B. LEWELLEN are:

i.       LUCINDA T. LEWELLEN, b. December 18, 1811; d. August 05, 1855, Barry Co., Missouri; m. JOHN
       STANDIFER FERGUSON, November 17, 1829, Franklin, Co., Va.
Standifer Ferguson, and Lucinda T. Lewellen,dt.Green B., Nov. 17, 1829. Surety, Chas. Ferguson.
Standifer Ferguson, b. January 3, 1803 Franklin Co., Va.

ii. FRANCES HARRISON LEWELLEN (ELIZABETH A. CARTER, JOHN, JOSEPH, JOSEPH, WILLIAM ) was born Abt. 1815 in Bedford Co., Va. or Campbell, Co., Va., and died July 05, 1854 in Wyandotte Co., Kansas. She m. DAVID POE December 11, 1836, son of JOSEPH POE and FRANCES HARMON. He was born May 02, 1815 in Henry Co., Kentucky, and died June 24, 1895 in LaCygne, Linn, Kansas.

I have not been able to prove any more children by name... as best I can tell,there were four boys and four girls at Green B. residence in Bedford County, Va. in the 1820 census. 1830 census there were 1 male under 5, 1 male 5-10, 2 males 10-15, 1 male 15-20. 2 females under 5, 1 female 10-15, 1 female 15-20.
