Dear Christopher,
Thanks for your kind reply.I was successful in posting the genealogy on my Comcast Personal Website.Although the census listings are scrambled, I may be able to sort that out later.Otherwise, I am pleased with the outcome. You can look at the genealogy at the following link:
http://home.comcast.net/~smccaslin2/AncestryofC.S.Lewis.htmlhttp://home.comcast.net/~smccaslin2/AncestryofC.S.Lewis.html
I have written my genealogist-friend in Salt Lake City, inquiring of census records for Ireland.I do not know if they are available.Ancestry.com does not offer them.If available, those records would show the family composition of Richard LEWIS in Belfast, and later, Albert James’ household in 1901, with Warren and Clive Staples as the two children.Wales census records go only through 1901 on Ancestry.com, and if the same can be accessed for Ireland, I would be pleased.
I looked at the Public Records of Ireland page, but I have not posted this genealogy there to date.
There is so much available for C. S. LEWIS, I had little more to contribute. But, the ancestry seemed to be one area that was lacking.
Again, thanks for writing.
Yours sincerely,
Silas D. McCaslin
