Glenda: I would say that Ohio was the place of birthas their son Nathan Lewis was in the Ohio Infantry, Co. C, 73rd rgeiment.Their daughter Margaret married James P/ Euwer and they lived in Topeka, KS.Possibly buried in Mission Center Cem.
The children of Debra and George W. Lewis were;
1.-Noble Porter Lewis 8-25-1842died 7-25-1864 of the results of being woulded in the civil war. He is buried in Auburn Cem, Auburn, KS
2.-Sary Ann Lewis 12-10-1844 Died 4-9-1846 Age 1 1/2 yrs
3.- Nathan Lewis Born 3-3-1846 deathdate unknown
4.- Mary Elizabeth Lewis Born 3-1-1849 died-unknown
5.- Thomas Jefferson Lewis 6-17-1851 DiedUnknown
6.- Aaron Stooky Lewis 6-9-1854 died 11-5-1871 Age 17 yrs

9- Nancy Lewis Born 5-4-1862 Died 2-27-1864Age 2 yrs.
This is all I haveon the Lewis family and nothing on the
Cox family.I have names of The Cox family and the Lewis family that were buried in cemeteries inTopeka,Shawnee Co., Kansas, but I cannot find out how they are related.
