"Sussex Genealogies (Lewis Centre) by Comber, has Roger of Tangmer and West Dean (P.153, IX) "Named as 'the elder' in fine 1473/4. Will dt 6 Nov 1509 prb 23 Feb 1509/10. Md Anne or Mary dau of Reginald West, Lord De la Warr. Had issue:-
Roger Lewknor. Named in fr's will
?William ..
? George ..
Edmund .. (X) (i.e. next in line; not, apparently, Roger)
Jone. Named in fr's will
Clemence ..
Dorothy ..
Elizabeth .."

"The Visitations of Sussex" has, at the bottom of Page 26, Descendant line B "Sir Roger Lewknor knight m Mary d of Reignold West, Lord Delaware. Children: 1.Roger, 2.William, 3.George, 4.Edmond Lewknor of Fyning."
