The LEWSADER/LUZADER/etc. are Sephardic Jews. That is Jews who left Israel and moved to Portugal and Spain and stayed for centuries. Our Ancestor- Jacob De Lousada settled in London and renewed his wedding vows according to the Jewish tradition, and then moved to his family to NY,NY where he is buried. They moved to NJ, then to VA/WV and on to Ohio and Indiana. There is a town still in Portugal named Lousada.
