Please pardon the typographic errors
I do know how ro spell Cherokee.
The son of Jacob who fled to Canada
may have been named Jacob, not Isaac.
I shall consult my notes for the correct
name. More information about Isaac,
father of Jacob. He was probably the
Isaac Louzade born in Amsterdam ca.
1645 and died at The Hague, Gelder-
land in November 1714. There were
others of the name in Holland, including
Isaac Baruch Louzada. The frequent
appearance of the names Aaron, Isaac,
Moses [Moishe] , Jacob, and David com-
