Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the response. It's so exciting to find someone else who has the same interest.
You have given me information I didnot have. My research got me only as far as John LEWSADDER b. 12-18-1819 possibly in Ohio or Pennsylvania. But I hadn't found his parents, etc.
My records also show him married to Sarah Prevo, m. Jan 13, 1848, and that the children Matilda, Nancy, Leah, and Marcus where hers from a previous marriage (to a BEERS). Their children together were as you listed - Snowden LEWSADDER b, Jan 23, 1848, Milow LEWSADER b. 1851, Homer LUSADER b. March 17, 1853. They also had children Franklin LEWSADER b. 1860, and John LEWSADDER b. June 30, 1856. Then I show him marrying Mary Nabors and the child Lura LUSADDER. Also note the different spellings of the last names.
The Cyril you mention is my husband's father. Cyril Warren LUSADER, b. June 13, 1909, d. Feb. 15, 2000. His father was Elbert Franklin LUSADER, b. Mar 9, 1887. His father was John LEWSADDER, b, June 30, 1856. His father was John LEWSADDER, b. Dec. 18, 1819.
I would appreciate any information you have on John LEWSADDER b. 1819 - place of birth, and more on his parents and grandparents and siblings if you have any.
I have more information on the family line - siblings of John LEWSADDER's children, etc. Let me know if you have need of them.
Are you from the Lewsader line?
Keep in touch.
