I think you are referring to the Moses Myers House (c. 1791) in Norfolk, one of the few surviving 18th century structures in this city. It is owned by the City of Norfolk and operated as part of the Chrysler Museum. See www.chrysler.org/lookingtour.html . This house was built by Moses Myers (1752-1835). Moses Myers was the son of Haym Myers (b. ? ; d.1801 in Holland) and Rachel Louzada (b.?; d. February 28, 1790 in New York); Haym Myers and Rachel Louzada were married 6/23/1751. To the best of my information, Rachel was the daughter of Moses Louzada (1700-1750) and Hannah ?. I have no knowledge of Isaac and Catherine Louzada. And as for Adeline Myers, I have no knowledge, except that it is unlikely that she was the daughter of Rachel, who died a year before her birth. Moses Myers and his wife Eliza Judah were married 3/22/1787 and, so far as I know, had three sons and one daughter named Augusta, all born in the late 1780s and early 1790s. I am unaware of a daughter named Adeline. If you will provide your address, I will check into the quilt and also get a brochure and send it to you.
