Some of you have probably seen this source ("History of Seneca County Ohio" - Warnner Beer & Co. - 1886 - page # 725, "Big Springs Township") I found this book in the Indiana State Library last year. They don't allow some of their books to be put on a copying machine, for fear of breaking them down, therfore I quickley took notes of an article on John Luzader. I have either made erorrs or I don't understand something here. This is the synopsis I jotted down:
John Luzader, farmer, P.O. Carey, Wyandot Co.
b. in Ross Co. Ohio, Oct. 17, 1814
s/o Thomas and Margaret Luzader - natives of Va.- who were b. and m. near Grafton, - migrated to Ross Co. Ohio and remained there till their death. Thomas d. 1821, Margaret d. 1823.
John moved to Wyandot (then Crawford Co.) in 1827 [notice he would have been about 13 at the time]
Then to Seneca Co. in 1833
M. Sarrah Latta, b. in Pa., July 20, 1819, Jan. 10, 1839, d/o Ephraim and Christina Latta.
***from here I must have errored**
John and MARGARET? had ten children, seven alive in 1886
Margaret? died June 9, 1860
John m. 2 - Jan. 2, 1862 - Cynthia Dibble - b. in Big Springs Twp. Seneca Co. to Fredrick and Fredrica Dibble, both deceased.
John and Cynthia had one child
John owns 129 acres, had been constable and clerk of Big Springs Twp.
I wish I would have been able to make photo copies of this at that time, maybe some of you have done so. Please if you will, correct any errors you may find here. Thank You
