Lewsader/Luzzader/Lazador/Lazadere Family

My 4greatgrandfather, Augustis Frank Papicin, born abt 1755 in France, married an Abigail Lazador on 25 Jan 1794 at John Street Church in New York County, NY. I have information (found by a researcher) in the 1794 New York Directory that there is a listing for an Abraham Lazadere, Blacksmith, 8 Warren Street. Don't know if there is a connection between Abraham Lazadere and Abigail Lazador; but, I believe there might be.

Augustis Papicin and Abigail Lazador evidently listed in Albany, NY as Augustis Papicin was engaged in five different land transactions from 1798-1804 according to the Albany County Land Transactions in the state archives.

I do believe that my Abigail Lazador is a Lewsader or a Luzzader since I cannot find any Lazadors anywhere.

This has been a puzzle for about four years and I just tonight found the Lewsader Forum and decided to make a posting for some help.

Look forward to hearing from anyone.

Thanks.

Sandra Nall
