This information indicates a previous marriage for Polly Bailey, who married Andrew Lewsader on November 29, 1837, in Fountain County, Indiana, after the death of his first wife Rebecca (Davis). I have a photo copy of this marriage record, but I failed to record the book and page number. On a statewide marriage index for Indiana, I found a Polly "Redding" married Burton Bailey, in Fountain County, on October 21, 1832. There are no Reddens in the 1830 or 1840 census for Fountain County. But there is an Isaac Redding for both of these census. Unknown twp. in 1830 and Troy twp. in 1840. Isaac is 20-30 yrs. in 1830, and 30-40 yrs. in 1840 and each census shows a female under 5 years. Only two Isaac Reddings are shown in the 1850 census, one in Missouri and one in New Hamshire, and niether appear to be the Isaac from Fountain County. I find Isaac Redding on a marriage index marrying Margaret Mills in Fountain County, August 27, 1841. Margaret Mills is head of household and next door to Isaac on the 1840 census. Hope this is the right trail.
NOTE: The 1850 census for Fountain County has the following REDDENS
