I don't have a birth or death date for Rebecca or Andrew. Rebecca must have died before Nov. 29, 1837 for that is the date of Andrew's second marriage to Polly Bailey. From what I can glean from Andrew Lewsader's (b. 1835) bio sketch. He was the tenth child born to Andrew and Rebecca, and Andrew had two children with Polly Bailey. I have treated all names (Lewsader, Lusadder, Lewzader, etc.) found in Fountain County, Indiana, as children of Andrew. They are of the correct age group, and I have found no evidence to show they are children of anyone of other than Andrew. So far I have found through both primary and secondary sources these names; Elizabeth, Catherine, Abel, John, Rachel, Isaac, Rebecca, and Andrew. One child found from the marriage to Polly Bailey is, Thomas. Are you a descendent of Rebecca Davis through one of these names, or is there another child out there that I haven't found?
