Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The website barrow-lousada.org is now up, covering the Lousadas and Barrows from about 1700 in Jamaica and Barbados and their arrival in England in the mid-1700s. The website then covers their genealogy until the present day and it includes the Australian Lousadas. It would be great to hear from anyone who knows of linkages between these people and other family in the West Indies, Brazil, Holland and the US. As you will see, we have included - but not linked his precise connection - Jacob Lousada who came to NY in 1710 whom we found on this forum!
