Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I can not tell you anything about Matthew.
But my Leyhs came also from the Dinkelsbühl area, perhaps it will help you, a little bit.
They moved to Thuringia, so there can not be a dirct connection.
*Johann Friedrich Ley(h) and Maria Katharina (Keuss?)
*Johann Georg Wilhelm Ley
(born 1785 in Mönchsroth, near Dinkelsbühl)
and Maria Gertrud Eckmayr from Arberg.
*Marie Christine Leyh (1806 Mönchsroth)
*Franz Joseph Leyh (1825 Mönchsroth)
he moved to the "north".
Perhaps you will connect them later, could you give me a mail, if you can see a connection.
