Chris,

While researching my Gr-grandfathers name, Emil Leyck, I came across a chuch he belonged to and the spelling of his last name was Leyk. Now family memories tell of Emil changeing the spelling of his name. Emil Leyck (aka Leyk) arrived the USA from Prussia Oct 1866 at the age of 23. Family member has a picture of him taken in Berlin before 1866. He raised his family in Stapleton Staten Island, NY.

Is there possibly a connection? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

Trudell Leyck Wright
