Now kevin; i had read your materials on the internet wesbite on family generation poem and you had mentioned that once the family generation poem expires to the last characetr in the fmaily generation poem. for example a 20 character, it will be restarted all over again from the first character in the family poem ,now as you know the first generation ancestor in the family poem is yi ran, are you saying that yi ran;s father would have belonged to the last character which is lung in the fourth row. remember to count it vertically.and the preceding father cong the second last generation character>?
So you are saying the family generation poem would be ancient as if the first ancestor in the poem with the first charcater shao supoosing he was born in 1570 circa, then according to your reckoning that the expiry of the poem will be restarted again to the first charcater so that means if one generation rendered 25 years then twenty generation generations before, it would be 500 years before 1570?so it would 1570 - 500 = 1070 ,one question i want to ask kevin is how does one know that the family generation poem i was recycled being used twice, the first time would be the expiry of the last character and the second would be a regeneration a restart back to the very first charcater in the poem? so would that mean that if the famiyl poem was recycled , it would have been written at east from 1070? and also can one tell what is the age of the fmaily generation by sifting through the stanzas and wording?
You had mentioned that accroding to my family generation poem , an ancestor had accomplished himself therefore there was a need to break into nei shi and wai shi generation poem, though i am not an expert in ancient chinese, i gather fronm the poem it is talking about succession and continuatuion of the ancestor;s good reputation and glory/fame and that the ancestor had bestowed soemthing that was great as can be seen from the character shi ze nai cing long. does it refer to a hereditary position or power.?any reader care to interpret the family generation poem
