My mother's maiden name is Licalzi. His grandfather came here from Italy sometime in the 1800s to New Orleans. Not positive if that was the point of entry. His name was Giovanni Licalzi. My grandfather's name was Joseph and his father Michele. I have no clue what part of Italy he came from. The only living Licalzi left in our family is my great Uncle Anthony who was born in 1918.He never married, so our part of the line ends with him.
