Thanks for the response.
John Julius Lide [1802] that married Mary Jane Lamb [1798] died before 1838 according to my information. An equity action filed in the estate of his father-in-law, Alexander Lamb, in 1838 indicates John was deceased at that time.
In 1850, Mary J. Lide [52] is listed in the 1st. dist. in Montgomery County, AL page 77b [135-136] with her children, Charles W A [28], Carney [22], Eliza [18], Sarah [17], and Sophia [15].
In 1860, Mary is listed in the 2nd dist. in Montgomery County, AL. P O Ramah, AL with son, C W Lide and daughters, Ellen and Sophia.
John J. Lide, Sr. [1809] and Caroline [1822]can be found as stated on entry 142 on GenForum. The children are as follows; Rebecca, Mary Willie, John J., Jr., Joseph T., Emmet, Louisa, Susan, Julius and Irby.
I do not know Caroline's maiden name but in the 1880 census her parents are said to be born in Scotland. She was living in Birmingham, AL. with her daughter, Willie's family.
