Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My g-grandmother was Jessie Goodwin Lieb Maust Bishop. She first married George/Philip Lieb. He was a young school teacher in Fayette County PA. They had one daughter, Rose. Philip cut his knee when cutting corn and the knee became infected. He died of a "cold in the knee" according to one of his teaching texts which included notes written by his wife, we believe. Jessie later married Francis Maust and they had one daughter, Galena Florence, my maternal grandmother. I have other names of family members but I am curious as to whether we may be linked.

I hope to hear from you. Thank you.
