Your postings always have a ton of information! I'm hoping at some point you've come across an Archibald Liggitt/Liggett that fits into a line somewhere. The info I have so far is as follows:
Archibald Liggett was born in Pennsylvania, date unknown. Married America Boren 2 May 1861 in Marion Co, IA. Believed to have enlisted in the Union Army in 1862; died in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1863.
Children: Mary Jane "Jennie" b. 1862 in PA, James A, b.1863 in IA.
Jennie married Charles McCoy 20 Jan 1881 in Muskingum Co, OH. Divorced after having two children: Vernon b. 1883 OH, Oren b. 1885 OH. Jennie's second marriage was to Lemuel Powell Boren, 4 Oct 1891 in Marion Co, IA. I believe they were 1st cousins. They had six more children.
James A. Liggett married Carrie B. McNaught 23 Sep 1891 Muskingum, OH. Ch: Mary Lucille b. Jul 1892 IN, Carrie Blanche b. Sep 1896 OH.
Also, James was a minister who may have studied at Lane Theological Seminary in Cincinnati around 1890. James & Carrie's first child is listed as being born in Indiana, but they are later listed on the 1900 census in Zanesville, OH and the 1910 census in Madison Co, OH. I haven't yet checked 1920.
That's my info so far -- I've come a long way since I started this but, as you know, there's always more info to find out there!
