In the 1880 census of St Louis, MO, Clifton Like is living with his parents Abraham Like and Mary (Long) and is age 5.

In the 1900 Census, St Louis, MO. Clifton Like, b.1873, MO. is listed as a servant for Socrates Chang. Clifton's sister Marion is a servant for Simon Fry.

Their father Abraham Like, was a brother of my Great Grandfather,Gideon Like. I have been trying to find what happened to these related to my grandfather. In 1880 my Grandfather, Samuel Light is listed with a Samuel Butcher and wife lucinda as a adopted son. They were in Lineville, Wayne Co., Iowa. There were some Like families that were in Southern Colorado in 1900. Not sure if they are related to the Missouri Like's. Any help is appreciated. THank You. a Added note our Soper's News has been quiet.
