William Franklin Likins was the son of William Likins and Rachel Horn. Rachel was William's second wife. William Likin's brother was Gravenor Likins. Both brought their families to Southwestern Missouri from Greene County TN between 1843 and 1860, William came first, then in the 1850's Gravenor came. Other family members and relatives (Whinreys, Horns, Squibbs, Marshes) also moved to what is now southwestern Greene County and northeastern Lawrence County, Missouri.

William and Gravenor had several brother's and sisters and were the children of William Likins and Hannah Marsh.

I am interested in learning more about Gravenor Likins. There are other kin around the country. Would be happy to exchange information with you.
