Looking for information on Arthur L. (Lyman) Likens parents. He was 'supposedly' born in Iowa (c. 1899 - poss. November 23, 1899). He married Mabel I. (Inez) Millage (m. 1926) born in South Dakota (c. 1907). They had a son, Delbert Lewis Likens born in South Dakota (November 6, 1927). In the 1930 Census, Arthur lists both parents place of birth as Iowa.
I've searched every database I can come up with and am now thinking that Arthur might have been an 'alien'. There seemed to have been one good hit in my research for a Delbert Likens born c. 1881, but his wife would have been 11-years old when Arthur was born -- would have made a good match for a namesake when Arthur's son was born too.
'Del' Likens is my Uncle and nearing 80-years old now. I'd like to find something out about his Father's ancestors before it gets any later. Any help would be appreciated. Lewis
