I am the grandson of the operator of (I believe) the Likins Brothers' Mill in Ash Grove.

My mother, Genevieve Likins Hunt, now 81, still has the framed mill poster on her wall with her father, Ross Likins, and his twin, Ralph Likins, as children, balanced on a seesaw over a bag of flour.

I believe their parents were Charles Washington Likins and Mary Campbell Likins.

Charles' father may have been William Likins…

I know very little about our family, though I know my mother has many relatives in Ash Grove, Missouri.

My cousin, Julie Hammon March, knows the most. I can get information from her if you are still looking. She ran the historical museum in Springfield, Missouri for many years.

I've been in Canada since 1971, so am largely out-of-touch.
