William and Thomas J. Likens

I am researching a family named Likens that was in Arkansas and Missouri - Two sons, William and Thomas J. Likens were born in Arkansas (Bates, Sebastian County possibly). Their mother's name was Kisiah-Keziah-Kissere I have found it spelled many ways. The father was already dead by 1860 and I do not know his name. Kisiah was married to Enoch Fisher in 1860 in Bates, Sebastian County, AR., a Calbert? in the 1860's and to Benjamin F. Hill in 1870 in Bates, Sebastian County, AR> - in 1880 she is again a widow in Swan, Taney County, MO.

I found several references to the family in Mincy Valley Babtist Church of Christ Records 1871 - 1884 at http://taneymo.us/motaney_mincy_church-1871-1884.php

Names that are related are Nancy Likens, wife of Thomas J. Likens, Mary Barton, William Liken-Likens, Kiziah-Kissere (Likens) Hill, John Fisher, George Calbert-Colbert (joined church starting in August 1880)

Does anyone know who the father of these Likens was? Who was married to Kisiah??

I also found Thomas J. Likens buried in Edwards Cemetery, Taneyville, Taney County, Missouri.

Please reply!! Thanks,
Barbara Logan
