I don't know where in VA this Jonas Likens, born ca 1815, was born. The earliest I have found him was in Rhea County, Tennessee along with two probably sisters and a possible brother. I think the sisters was Serena Likens who married Wyatt Silcox, and Elizabeth Likens who married Mark Stacy. There was also a Benjamin Likens there in Rhea County listed in some court records, but I can not find him in any census records yet. These three ( or four) siblings were in Rhea County as early as 1835 when the first sister was married.
